A Day at the Shed – OPEN DAY
Continuing the 30 Year Celebrations at OPTIONS
On Saturday 9th November our first ever OPEN DAY – A Day at The Shed was held. This was a chance to showcase all of the outstanding opportunities that OPTIONS participants are able to be involved in at this service. A number of groups were involved in creating and putting this event together.
The Work Crew and Garden Crew spent a lot of time getting the site ready and it was really looking great! As everyone walked in the Remembrance Day installation provided a good amount of colour and interest. All of the signs and information throughout the site were completed by the IT Group.
Everyone who attended was invited to purchase the delicious home-made goods baked by our Events and Café Skills Groups. Whilst the Market Craft Group provided a large range of high quality craft and homeware items to purchase for Christmas.
The Carnival Games were also a big hit, these games were made onsite by our Woodwork Group – they had lots of fun both building and testing each game.
There was even a sneak peak into this year’s OPTIONS Annual Art and Photography Exhibition – ‘Celebrate’.
