warnervale development being built

A LOT of work is going into upgrading Options Disability Support’s Warnervale site to deliver more of our popular kitchen, garden and creative skills programs.

Here are the three changes you’re going to love.

1. COOKING, KITCHEN SKILLS AND HOSPITALITY PROGRAMS

You’re going to love our new skills training kitchens. Steve Travis and Options Disability Support participants Eric Bowman, George Pope and Matthew Schofield have been busy putting in the cabinetry for Options new training kitchen. Cook tops, ovens and sinks will be installed, including wheelchair accessible surfaces and sinks. The new training kitchen is slated to be ready mid-year and offering cooking, food preparation and hospitality industry programs similar to those delivered at The Edible Garden, at Kariong.

2. ART, DESIGN AND MIXED MEDIA CREATIVE PROGRAMS

CREATIVE types will be impressed by the new-look art space at Options Disability Support’s Warnervale site. Our big, light open art room will be fitted out with new cupboards to store the materials for art, design and mixed media programs. Bright cupboards in blue, deep orange and green make the room pop and new benches and tabletops will make room for creative projects.

3. LANDSCAPING, GARDEN AND BUILDING PROGRAMS

THE Edible Garden crew has been busy landscaping and laying new gardens beds and it will be all hands on deck to build a labyrinth at the back of the property.
